Born and raised in the United States, grew up in New Zealand and currently live in Banff, Canada.  I have several qualifications covering subjects in history, philosophy, politics, international relations, human rights, journalism and business.  Having enjoyed news photography as a journalist, I began taking an assortment of photos as a hobby.  In doing so I have gained greater experience and developed a strong eye for photographic opportunities.
